Qualified Charitable Distribution
(IRA Charitable Rollover Gift)

Benefits of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
Individuals at least 70½ years of age may make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD).

​What are the benefits?
•       Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $100,000 from your traditional IRA to a qualified charity.
•       Satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
•       Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.
•       Make a charitable contribution that is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts.
•       Help further the work and mission of your favorite charity.

How it Works

Contact your IRA plan custodian to make a gift from your IRA to the Albrecht Free Clinic.  Please request that your name be included with the transfer information.  We’d like to thank you for your gift.  The clinic’s EIN is 39-1839654.

All visits are currently by appointment.
​Evening clinics occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45-7:30 PM.
Some same day appoinments may be available.
